Chicken Patties
Cravin' a McChicken from McDonalds? Well look no further, introducing the "healthy" McChicken!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cayenne
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- panko breadcrumbs
- olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground chicken, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of cayenne, and 1 teaspoon of cajun seasoning. Combine well.
- With the combined mixture, pat out 4-6 circular patties. Place in freezer for 5 minutes.
- Pour panko breadcrumbs in a large plate. Drop each patty in the panko breadcrumbs and press in the breadcrumbs. Ensure all sides and edges have full coating.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Once oil is hot, place patties in the oil. Cook chicken patties on each side until lightly browned.
- Remove chicken patties from pan and serve on hamburger bun with your favorite toppings.
