Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large pan oven medium heat. Add garlic, minced bell pepper and onion to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add 1 pound of ground beef, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, ½ teaspoon of kosher salt, and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper to the same pan. Cook ground beef, breaking apart into crumbles, until it's cooked all the way through
Add ⅔ cup of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of yellow mustard, and ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.
Reduce pan to low and allow mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes. Ready to serve!
