Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ tsp salt kosher
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup onion diced
- 1 tbsp bell pepper diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies (Original)
- ½ can black beans
- ½ can kidney beans (light red)
- 1 pkg Chili-O Seasoning Mix
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup tomato juice
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp ground cayenne
- pinch of oregano
- pinch of crushed red pepper
- ½ tsp all purpose flour
- ½ tsp sugar
Instructions
- Brown a pound of Ground Beef in a skillet on medium-high, add ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, and ¼ teaspoon of Italian Seasoning. Cook ½ way through, add ¼ cup of diced onion, and a tablespoon of diced bell pepper then continue cooking until brown. Drain ground beef mixture
- In a large pot, add ground beef mixture and all other ingredients. Stir over medium heat and bring to boil.
- Turn heat to low and allow to simmer for 15-20 min.
Notes
Serve with shredded cheese, crackers, and/or grilled cheese.
